It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Bennett of Hillsboro, Texas, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dana Dewitt Bennett and Ura May Bennett; his wife Jacquenettle Triplett Bennett; his daughters, Dr. Suzy Alloju (Man Alloju) of Plano, TX and Jeannie Rabon (Dan Rabon) of Reno, NV; and his grandsons, Jay Alloju (Linda) of Carrollton, TX, Jack Rabon (Les Alloju), Ash Alloju and Arthur Alloju (Kenzie Rabon).

“Dana leaves a large hole in my life. He was my best man in my wedding in 1967 and my friend since 1956 when I met him at ACC in Abilene. He taught me to play the guitar which has been with me ever since. I will miss his smile, his Christian life and most of all his music. When ever I visited it was time to get out the fiddle and rosin up the bow. Thank you for being part of my life. I expect to see you in Paradise one of these days. Dwayne & Nancy Brown”
