It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Houston of Hillsboro, Texas, born in Boonville, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Joe and Norine Mary Koechner (Elmlinger); and her brother Larry Koechner. She is survived by: her husband Sam Houston of Hillsboro; her children, Matthew Burger (Jessica) of California and Julie Burger-Morris of Waco; her grandchildren, Joslynn Burger, Nikkalas Morris, Jayla Morris, Maiya Burger and Gage Burger; her great grandchildren, Jase and Hope Ellen; her sister-in-law Verna Koechner; and her nephew Tony Koechner.

Facial masks and social distancing are required.
