He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rex and Esther Josephine Cornelius (Willis); his sons, Kyle Rex Cornelius, Jeffrey Ray Cornelius and Carl Witt Cornelius, Jr.; his grandson Jeremiah Peter Cornelius; his brother Alfred Douglas Cornelius; his sister-in-law Joyce Cornelius; and his parents-in-law, Marge Pinkard and Pat Farrill.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Elizabeth Nemec (David) of Woodway, Jason Cornelius (Laureen) of Stacy, Rachel Green (Darius) of Hillsboro and Jennifer DelBello (Steven) of Houston; his grandchildren, Chance, Jason II, Leo, Walter, Jillian, Luke, Gretchen, Dylan, Olivia, Tilin, Isaac, Bryce, Lexi, Mallory and Darius II; his brother Ronnie Cornelius (Glenda) of Riviera; and his sister-in-law Shelly Sawicki of Little Canada, Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
