It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Laverne Kucera of Hillister, Texas, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Freda Karasek Rieger and Joseph Rieger; her children, Greg Kucera (Vicki), Mark Kucera (Lois) and Debbie Overstreet (Walter); her sister Willie Mae Brewer; her grandchildren, Leigha Kucera, Megan Walzel, Matthew Kucera and Cory Overstreet; her great grandchildren, Savanna Walzel and Sylvi Sims; her husband Sylvester J. Kucera; and also Calvin Bourque.
