She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Rosa Etheridge; her former husband Kelly Lester; her stepson-in-law Charles M. Tetlow; and her great-nephew Stephen Tomplait.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Sears, Sr. of Hillister; her stepchildren, Ralph Edward Sears (Wena) of Hammond, LA, Robert Lincoln Sears, Jr. (Rachel) of Jacksonville, FL, Ronald Sears (Beverly) of Billings, MT, Denise Wigley (Otis) of Tyler, Lorrie Tetlow of San Antonio and Cynthia McConothy (Scott) of Westlake, LA; her sister Oda Judice of Bridge City; her nephews, Mike Tomplait of Orange and Randy Tomplait of Celina; her godson Cade Tomplait of Spring; and her friend Fred Morin. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
