He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Zavadil and Dorothy Marie Zavadil. He is survived by: his son Matthew "Matt" Shumaker; his niece Kassie Mae Zavadil; his son John "Jay" Zavadil; his grandson Weston Jude Zavadil of Duson; his brother Kenneth W. Zavadil, Sr. of New Caney, Texas.; and his nieces and nephews, Kenneth "Ken" Zavadil, Jr. (Connie) of Center, Texas., Lauren Kenley Zavadil of Center, Josef Edwin Zavadil of Center and Greg Utley of Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any gospel ministry in his honor that the Holy Spirit lays upon your heart.
