With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Hope Owens (Highlands, Texas), who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Edna Hope's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Edna Hope has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bernis Owens; and her siblings, Ernestine, Freda and Dale. She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Gracie), Burt (Janet) and Russell. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

“My daughter, Becky and I were warmly and pleasantly treated to so much motherly love and hospitality during our first and only brief visit from Canada to Grandma Hope's home. A couple phone exchanges with her made me feel we have been friends and family for quite a it affirmed to me that loving others well and loving God are inseparable. I will continue to cherish those phone calls till we meet at Jesus feet. I pray for God's comfort for the sisters and the entire Owens family. Rhoda Goshi”
