He is survived by: his sons, Nicolas Cullen Simmons and Macky Wayland Simmons; his siblings, Sharon Czerwonka, VanSchuyver (Jim VanSchuyver), Gwen Stasney (Richard) and Larry Dean Simmons (Vicki); his nephew Dan Green; and his nieces, Saundra Mendez, Crystle Czerwonka and Marie Reese. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
