It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Joyce Leissner (Highlands, Texas), born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on June 28, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Leissner; her son Jon Leissner; her parents, Alexander Hohensee and Kate Hohensee; and her siblings, Yva Lee Addison, Warner Hohensee, Windol Hohensee, Bobby Hohensee and Wayne Hohensee.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Simpson (Allen), Tommy Leissner (Nancy), Becky Lamb (Larry) and Bonnie James; her daughter-in-law Linda Leissner; her grandchildren, Shannon O'Neal (T. L.), Clay Leissner, Tonya Blankenship (Danny), Dorci Hill (Rex), Kristi Schwartz (David), Troy Simpson (Brooke) and Michelle Hernandez (Pedro); and her great grandchildren, Karli, Kyle, Kylee, Lillian, Nike, Callen and Emma. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
