Archie Ruth Moyers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Archie Ruth Moyers of Highlands, Texas, who passed away on November 17, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest A. "Cucumber" Moyers; and her parents, James Archie Vick and Emma Vick. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Moyers and Donald Moyers (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Donna DuPont, Kim Foster, Dawson Moyers, Douglas Moyers, Archie Moyers and Paul Moyers; her great grandchildren, Mary DuPont, Darian Turner, Madi Moyers, Miranda Moyers, Danielle Spencer, Alexis Foster, Ethan DuPont of Archie Moyers, II, Alexander Moyers, Peyton Moyers, Jacob Foster, Ravion Moyers and Matthew Moyers; her great great grandchildren, Laila Moyers, Arya Moyers, Gwen Valarde, Sage Garza, Nox Turner and Jase Spencer; her siblings, Ella Mizell, Minnie Bickley, Annie McNulty, Lonie Manning, Walker of Nevada, Marie Vick, Lubie Vick, Johnie Vick and Clarence Vick; and her great grandchildren, Loral and Macy Moyers.

Ruthie and her husband Ernest always had a saying; "When I die, I will meet you at the waterfall" Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and out of concern for safety; there will only be a graveside service. Masks and social distancing are difficult on occasions such as these; however, is needed and will be very much appreciated.
