We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2021, at the age of 86, Alvin John Keyes of Highlands, Texas, born in Plantersville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Francis and Anastasia Nora Keyes; his brothers, James Keyes and Clifford Keyes; and his siblings-in-law, Jerome Rucka, Ted Cashion, Thomas Huskey, Barbara Huskey and Wilma Keyes.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Keyes; his children, Debra Schield (Randy), Susan Keyes (Kelly), David Keyes (Tracy), Jill Powell (John) and Lara Brown (Robert); his grandchildren, Sarah Schield, Emily Brown, Jennifer Minson (Brian), Holly Powell, Rachel Brown, Beth Powell, Ethan Keyes, Rebecca Brown, Jake Powell and Payton Keyes; his great grandchildren, Blair and Luca; and his siblings, Leo Keyes (Ruth), Emanuel Keyes, Theresa Cashion, Betty Rucka and Norman Keyes (Linda). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
