It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Taylor Kane of High Island, Texas, born in Stowell, Texas, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Taylor Kane Sr. and Irene Kane (Edith Kane); his siblings, Annabelle Nicar, Gloria Kersh, Rosa Lee Stone and Donald T. Kane; and his grandson John D. Kane.
He is survived by: his sister Sally Merchant; his children, Jennifer Roland (Steve) and Alan Kane (Anne); his grandfather Johnny (Paw Paw); his grandchildren, Kristen McLemore (Ben), Erin Wexler-Adams (Taylor), Steven Roland (Christine), Sarah Hinshaw (Nick) and Rachel Denison (Reding); and his great grandchildren, Abigail McLemore, Rylan, Landon Wexler-Adams, Sadie Roland, Annabelle Hinshaw and Charlotte Denison.
