He was predeceased by: his father Jorge Baez Sr.; and his grandparents, Inocencio, Maria Cruz Torres, Perfecto and Maria Elena Baez.

He is survived by: his mother Rosa Linda Baez; his wife Ramona Baez; his children, Jorge Alberto Baez, Jeremy Angel Baez, Javier Alejandro Baez, Cienna Mylee Baez and Evan Eskel Baez; and his sisters, Brenda Salazar (Tomas Salazar), Linda Baez and Julie Trevino (Priscilla Lopez).
