With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rusty Harris (Hico, Texas), who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Jo and Newton Harris; and his brother Billy Wayne Harris. He is survived by: his wife Donna Harris; his children, Lannette Garrett (Glen) and Doug Harris; his grandchildren, Harrison Garrett (Willow) and Kayla Garrett; his sister-in-law Xan Harris; his stepdaughter Shanna McCoy (Justin); his stepgrandchildren, Trinidy, Coleden and Melody; his stepson Nathan Gard (Amanda); and his stepgrandchildren, Ella and Grayson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his memory to Fairy Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
