He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Franklin and Evie Jane Shaw Mackey; and his wife Mary Jo Carpenter. He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Peggy) of Everman, Steve (Susan) of Everman and Roger Mackey of Hico. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous grandnieces and nephews.
