He was predeceased by: his parents, Melbourne Giesecke and Irene Giesecke (Rogers); and his brother Rondy Giesecke. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Giesecke; his sons, Darryl Giesecke (Sheila), David Giesecke (Cassie) and Marty Giesecke (Laura); his grandchildren, Michelle Prazak (Keith), Cheyenne Giesecke and Holton Giesecke; his nephew Bryan Giesecke; and his sister-in-law Donna Walther. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
