She was predeceased by: her husband Possum; her daughter Kristi; her sister Gloria; her parents, Jessie Loyd and Ester Flodean McMillian; and her husband Harold Murphy Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Kim (Scott); her granddaughters, Amanda (Kirk), Alicia (Derek) and Samantha; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Emma, Daniel, Tessa, Hailea, Mia, Ryhleigh and Isaac.
