She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvie Stagner and Uel Stagner; her husband Elbert Ray Brown; her siblings, Truman Stagner, Edward Stagner and Thelma Jernigan; and her son Dennis Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Brown, Kathryn Brown and Jim Brown; her grandchildren, Derek, Ronda Baker, Marci McClanahan, Andrew and Paige Brown; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Baker, Hunter Baker and Violet Brown.
