He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hicks and Allene Hicks (Patterson); and his brother Raymond Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Juanice Hicks; his children, Tammy McAfee (Fred) and Jim Hicks (MeDina); his grandchildren, Ali McAfee, Amanda McAfee, Connor Hicks and Reid Hicks; his niece Cindi Hicks Allen; and his nephew Kelly Hicks. He is also survived by numerous cousins, step-children and other family members.
