He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shaffer and Lois Shaffer of Hico; and his sister Edna Burgan (Bruce) of Alice, TX.. He is survived by: his siblings, Renee Childers (Leo) of Utopia, TX and Terry Shaffer (Rhonda) of Granbury, TX.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
