He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim J. and Janie Mashek (Krenek); his sisters, Doris Mashek and Evelyn Hlavaty (Mashek); and his granddaughter Layne Adaline Mashek.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Debi Marshall (Scott) of Eagan and Chris Mashek (Anne) of Belton; his grandchildren, Baby Mashek of Belton, Stephanie Tierney (Paul) of Eagan, MN and Brandon Marshall of Eagan, MN; his great grandchild Baby Tierney of Eagan, MN; and his brother Sammy Mashek (Gayle) of Eddy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Hospice or American Cancer Society.
