He is survived by: his wife Carmen Elkjer of Hewitt, TX; his children, Barbara Hopps (Jim) of Keene, TX, Paul Elkjer (Kim) of Dallas, TX, Jaime Palmer (Mandy) of Dallas, TX and Karlos Palmer (Leslie) of Austin, TX; his siblings, Mary Elkjer of Willmar, MN, Jerry Elkjer (Mollie) of Spicer, MN, Jane Radzak (Lee) of Willmar, MN, Dan Elkjer (Bobbi) of Willmar, MN and John Elkjer (Julie) of Holualoa, HI; his grandchildren, Michael Lamb (Cassie), Kristin Boone (Josh), Eryn Hopps, Erin, Brooke Elkjer, Howard Liam, Ana Sofía Palmer, Catherine "Cate" Marta and Carmen "Betty" Elizabeth Palmer; and his great grandchildren, Caden and Mayson.
