He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Browning; and his siblings, Kensel Sherwood, Ferman Sherwood, James Sherwood, Mead Sherwood, Clyde Sherwood, Joe Sherwood, Winnie, Oleta, Betty, Ida Mae and Mable.
He is survived by: his parent Stella E. Sherwood (Rose); his wife Rita Sherwood; and his children, John Fisher (Stacy), Gerry Lynn Sherwood (Debra), Rick Dean Sherwood and Rebecca Williams (Terry). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
