He was predeceased by: his parents, Lily Mae Buckner and Thomas Buckner; and his siblings, Louden, William, V. T. Buckner, Julie Buckner, Johnnie Cottongame, Frances Buckner, Mary Buckner, Ida Thorne, Lena Jimison, Othella York and Lucy Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Buckner; his daughters, Julie Eubank (Randy) and Jill Borland (Chris); and his grandsons, Elijah, Jonah Eubank, Zeke and Zane Borland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
