She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Squyres and Felton Squyres; her son Travis Carter; her sister Ruth Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Debbie Schmidt and Jeri Lutt.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas W. Carter; her son Ricky L. Carter (Tricia); and her sisters, Jody Holder, Sarah Dutson and Nell Welch. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
