She was predeceased by: her parents, Axlee Kuykendall and Myrtle Kuykendall (Strickland); her husband Ralph Allen Young; her children, Connie Kay Kimball (Young) and John Sherman Young; and her grandson Michael Sherman Young.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joni Kapavik (Jimmy) and Peggy Williams; and her sister Nadine Kuykendall. She is also survived by grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
