He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Mize and Jessie Mize (Brannon); his wife Rita Blair; his siblings, Vonnie Jean Sears (Tootsie), Frances Smith, Rodger Mize, Kendard Mize and Elwood Mize; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Blair, Lee Sears, John Smith, Wanda Mize and Zelma Hall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jana Ramsey (Kenneth) of Monahans and Laura Piri (Andrew) of Blanket, TX.; his grandchildren, Matthew Jones of San Angelo, Charlsea Jones of Brownwood, Allan Piri of Amarillo, Colton Piri, Miranda Guerrero of San Angelo, Jonathan of Blanket, Madi of Blanket and Erin Piri of Blanket; his great grandchild Emmett Piri of San Angelo; his sisters, Dixie Jones of Sweetwater and Jo Messick of Loraine; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Blair, Ava Lynn and Alice Mize. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for a donation to be made to West Texas Boys Ranch, 10223 Boys Ranch Rd, San Angelo, TX.
