With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Groves of Hermleigh, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmuth Wisian and Hulda Wisian. She is survived by: her children, Cody Groves, Summer Sherrod and Sarah Veatch; her husband Buster Groves; her brother Bobby Wisian; her grandchildren, Kyler Groves, Caleb Groves and Braylee Sherrod; and her stepgrandchildren, Aidan Sherrod, Addison Sherrod and Sydney Veatch.
The family asks that a memorial contribution be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project, both causes Shirley was active with.
