It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Sweeney of Hereford, Texas, born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frances and Helen Louise Daugherty Sweeney; his wife Doris Jean Sweeney; and his siblings, Patrick Frances Sweeney, Joe Widra and Elizabeth Di Julio.

He is survived by: his children, Angela Cullen of Joplin, T. J. Sweeney of Longmont and Kenny Bruce Sweeney of Harrisburg; his siblings, Mike Sweeney of Audubon and Ann Cappozzi of Carlisle; and his stepchildren, Ramona Boldon Soria of Dalhart, Reese Boldon Lightfoot of Amarillo, Amy Boldon Ward of Amarillo, Jeff Boldon (Laura) of Lubbock and Larry Jr. Boldon (Carmen) of Prosper.
