A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hereford Church of the Nazarene (1410 La Plata St, Hereford, TX 79045).

In lieu of flowers, family request that memorials be made to Samaritan Hospice, 400 Ranger, Hereford, Texas 79045.

“Deeply saddened to hear of Steve's passing. We met through an auction magazine called GOLDMINE. We became fast friends through our mutual love of music. KANSAS, Phil Keaggy and GLASS HARP. We spent countless hours on the phone talking about guitars and music and traded rare recordings with each other. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Steve in person in Dallas at a guitar show. I flew down from Pennsylvania and he met me at the airport. We browsed Dealy Plaza together as well. R.I.P STEVE”
