She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Cummings and Annie May Cummings; her husband Raymond Dement; her siblings, Viola, Ruby, Floyd, Harley, Bessie, Oliver Ray and Jessie Lee; and her son-in-law Rick Downs.
She is survived by: her sister Lois Lomenick; her children, Greg Dement, Judith McNeill (Dudley) and Randal Dement (Sherri); her grandchildren, Zac (Kaitlin), Luke (Mary), Sydney (Ben), Slade (Brooke), Skylar (Coy), Chayce (Kenzie), Calvin and Max; her great grandchildren, Mac, Beck, Hendrick and Davis; her sister-in-law Wanda Dement; and her pet Axel. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Southwest Church of Christ (4515 Cornell St, Amarillo, TX 79109). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Park Cemetery (800 Bradley St, Hereford, TX 79045).
