She is survived by: her daughter Sonya Cardenas of Brownsville, Texas; her grandson Ruben Cardenas; her great grandchild Liberty; her sisters, Irma Sanchez (Benito) of Los Fresnos, Teresa Woods of Houston, Norma Peralez and Velma Azua of Los Fresnos, Texas; her pet Shadow; and her friend Lupita Sanchez of Hereford, Texas.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
