It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary P. Gamez (Hereford, Texas), born in Paint Rock, Texas, who passed away on September 9, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hepolito Perez and Celestina Perez (Montalvo); her son Roger Gamez; her granddaughter Tanya Lacy; her grandson-in-law Michael Lacy; and her siblings, Guadalupe Gonzalez and Frank Perez.
She is survived by: her husband Ismael Gamez of Hereford; her daughter Gayla "Gail" Grant (Roger) of Lubbock, Texas; her grandson Jonathan Grant of Lubbock; and her great grandchildren, Jayton of Lubbock, Jarron of Lubbock and Jyson Lacy of Lubbock. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
