He is survived by: his wife Gayle Carter (Thornburg); his daughter Linda; his son-in-law Terry Thompson of Canyon; his grandchildren, Dustin Thompson of Amarillo, Hannah of Canyon and Kole Thompson of Canyon; and his pet Booger.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Parkside Chapel Funeral Directors (601 Main St, Hereford, TX 79045).
