It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria E. Benavidez of Hereford, Texas, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cruz Enriquez and Eduarda Enriquez (Chapa); her husband Herman Benavidez, Sr.; her children, Delma Martinez (Raul) of Corpus Christi, TX., Richard Benavidez of Sacramento, CA., Oralia Benavidez of Corpus Christi, TX., Herman Benavidez Jr. of Ft. Worth, TX. and Sylvia Benavidez of Amarillo, TX.; her siblings, Chris Enriquez (Elda) of Italy, TX. and Tina Silva (Amado) of Toledo, OH.; her daughter Lillie Flores; her granddaughter Julie Flores; her great grandchild Dallas Andrew Munoz; and her siblings, Manuel, Mario Enriquez, Eva Alfaro and Amanda Laudermilk. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
