With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois Matchett of Hereford, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her mother Ada Melinda Allison (Hurt); her husband Robert Matchett; her son Rick Matchett (Denise) of Odessa; her father James Crawford Allison; and her daughter LaJuana Gibson.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Carl Gibson of Guymon, OK.; her grandchildren, McKay McEowen (Jonathan) of Dripping Springs and Brandt Matchett (Jenny) of Stafford; and her great grandchildren, Weston McEowen, Whit McEowen and Ellie Matchett.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (500 Main St, Hereford, TX 79045). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the West Park Cemetery (800 Bradley St, Hereford, TX 79045).
