He is survived by: his wife Gloria Gamez (Martinez) of Hereford, Texas; his children, Robert Gamez of Hereford, Annette Gamez of Sonora, Melinda Gamez of Amarillo, Christal Lopez (Teddy) of Lufkin, Michael Ainslie of Lufkin and Veronica Nix of Greenville, Texas; his grandchildren, Christopher Castro, Danielle Castro, Aiden Castro, Neelie Gamez, Isaac Gamez, Cailey Ainslie, Erika Lopez, Trey Ibarra, Hannah Lopez, Joseph Lopez, Jett Lopez, Miranda Nix, Lina Nix, Dexter Nix, Greyson Ainslie, Aubrey Weber and Ethan Weber; his great grandchildren, Nova, Dakota, Wyatt Watson and Emery Lopez; and his siblings, Ismael Gamez of Hereford, Benjamin Gamez (Frances) of Phoenix, James Gamez (Mely) of Hereford and Consuelo "Connie" Balderaz (Jody) of Amarillo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
