He was predeceased by: his parents, Romulo Nava and Elvira Villagomez; his brother Arturo Nava; his goddaughter Jasmine Dominguez; his parents-in-law, Jose and Eulalia Ramirez; and his brother-in-law Ruben Ramirez.
He is survived by: his wife Josie Ramirez; his children, John Nava (Pati), Elizabeth Nava of Hereford, Sandra Velazquez (Luis) of Hereford and Esther Garcia (Pedro) of Hereford; his siblings, Eva Nava of Hereford, Rosa Rodriguez (Augustine Sr.) of Hereford, Jose Luis Nava (Maria) and Juan Ramon Nava Sr. (Oralia) of Hereford; and his sister-in-law Rosario Nava of Hereford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
