He was predeceased by: his parents, John Whiteley and Georgie Whiteley; his former wife Vivian; his brother Wayne; and his brother-in-law Carl Green.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen of Hereford; his siblings, James (Judy) of Amarillo, John Robert (Jean) of San Antonio, TX and Dora Green of Amarillo; his children, Rusty (Michelle) of Houston and Sissy Bartlett (Jeramie) of Canyon; and his stepdaughter Susan Epley (Brad) of Houston. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren a niece and nephew.
