She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel Valdez and Carlota Valdez (Cerda); her husband Jose Valdez; her children, Grace Tijerina (Juan) of Canyon, TX, Isaac Valdez (Josie), Cristina Valdez (Joseph Woeller), Cindy Balderrama (Hector) and Clara Valdez of Amarillo, Texas; her siblings, Emma Trevizo of Hereford, TX, Omega Mata of Phoenix, AZ, Azael Valdez (Ernestina) of Hereford, TX, Armandina Valdez of Midland, TX, Omero Valdez (Linda) of San Antonio, TX, Gloria Balderaz of Hereford, TX, Amelia Garcia (Henry) of Hereford, TX and Delia Fry (Foster) of Amarillo, TX.; her grandson Jacob Isaac Valdez; and her brother Samuel Valdez. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
