With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delfina Pesina of Hereford, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 103. She was predeceased by: her parents, Seferino Santos and Ignacia De Los Santos (Daniel Pesina, Sr.); her son Eddie Pesina, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Hope Pesina; her grandson Jesus Francisco Pesina; her great grandchild Noah Hay; and her siblings, Refugio De Los Santos, Juan De Los Santos, Lupe Flores, Maria "Lela" De Los Santos, Catalina Pesina and Eloisa De Los Santos.
She is survived by: her children, Josie Guerrero (Martin, Sr.) of Austin, Gloria Alvarado (LT) of San Antonio, Yolanda Pesina of Hereford, Ray Pesina of Hereford, Dan Pesina, Jr. (Nora) of Hereford and Jessie Pesina of Cedar Creek, Texas; her daughter-in-law Amelia Pesina of Hereford, Texas; her son Kevin Prather of Cedar Creek, Texas; and her siblings, Esperanza Martinez of Hereford, Olga De Los Santos of Hereford and Seferino De Los Santos, Jr. (Blanca) of Roswell. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home (105 Greenwood St, Hereford, TX 79045). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel (105 Greenwood St, Hereford, TX 79045). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the San Jose Catholic Church (735 Brevard St, Hereford, TX 79045). A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
