He was predeceased by: his parents, Andreas Roman and Carmen Roman (Fraire); his wife Gregoria Villarreal Roman; his daughters, Leticia Salas Roman and Anna Gonzales Roman; and his sisters, Alicia Roman of Juarez, Anna Guerrero of Juarez and Genoveva Quintana of El Paso.
He is survived by: his children, David Roman, Jr. (Beverly) of Lubbock, Hilda Roman of Hereford, Carmen Madrid (Gilbert) of Lubbock and Susan Ruiz (Jose) of Hereford; and his close friend Lucy Pinedo. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
