With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Agapita G. Peña of Hereford, Texas, who passed away on February 8, 2021 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Carmen and Prisciliana Gallegos (Cervantez); her husband Carlos Peña; and her siblings, Manuel F. Gallegos, Tomasa Rodriguez, Guadalupe Reyes, Gavina Guillen and Esperanza Herrera.
She is survived by: her brother Joaquin Gallegos of Amarillo, TX; and her nieces, Carmen Torres (Manuel) of Amarillo, TX, Hope Garza (Alberto) of Hereford, TX and Mary Obman (John) of Bushland, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 1:00-8:00 P. M. at the funeral home with rosary beginning at 6:00 P. M. We ask that you please wear a mask provided by you if attending the visitation, rosary, or mass.
