With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayland Wilburn Threadgill Sr. (Henrietta, Texas), who passed away on May 5, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton W. Threadgill and Nora Dean Threadgill (Martin); and his siblings, Noble Threadgill, Coolidge Threadgill, John Threadgill, Opal Thompson, Velma Kenezk, Audrey Lindsey and Juanita Mills.
He is survived by: his wife Allene Threadgill (Duncan) of Henrietta; his sons, Wayland Threadgill, Jr. (Karon) of Irving and David Threadgill (Christie) of Henrietta; his stepsons, Jay Cantrell (Margie) of Iowa Park and Ross Cantrell of Bellevue; and his grandchildren, Dean Threadgill, D. J. Dickey, Gina Hodge, Ethan Cantrell, Betsy Page, Jack Cantrell and Beth Cantrell. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
