He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hoyt and Thelma Jean O'Dell (Hale). He is survived by: his wife Kelly (Skelton) of Joy, Texas; his children, Keith O'Dell (Kattie), Chrystal Boling (Rick), Brandon Petersen (Leslie) and Clinton Petersen; his grandchildren, Keenan O'Dell, Zackary Gates, Avery Boling, Carter Petersen, Hudson Petersen, Parker Petersen and Waylon Petersen; his great grandchildren, Karson, Kash and Clayton; his siblings, Jim O'Dell (Debbie), Susie Skaggs (Rick) and Patti Taylor (Bill); his brothers-in-law, Clay Skelton (Christy) and David Skelton (Terry); and his pet Zoey Louise. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cowboy Church (1784 Hwy 287 South, Henrietta, TX 76365). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
