He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Skelton and Ina V. Skelton (Veal); and his sister Martha Dean Skelton. He is survived by: his wife Dot Skelton (Emerson) of Henrietta; his children, Steve Skelton (Tami) of Krum, Jerry Skelton (Kari) of Wichita Falls, Texas and Julie White of Arlington, Texas; his grandchildren, Whitney (Brian Thio), Jordan Skelton of Denver, Seth (Brittney Skelton), Shea (Cody Melton), Kacey White of Tarpon Springs, Caleb White of West Hollywood, Haley (Chris Shumate), Hunter (Kassie Sides) and Drake (Sarah Sides); his great grandchildren, Beckham Thio, Baylor Thio, Wyatt Thio, Skyler Melton, Nash Melton, Knox Melton, Layne Skelton, Kennedy Sides, Harrison Sides, Davey Sides, Margot Sides and Baby Shumate; and his sister Vera Jo Still of Sulphur, Louisiana..
