She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Poteet and Ollie Elliott Poteet; her husband Homer Ellis; and her son-in-law Stephen Moore. She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Ellis Moore of Henrietta, Texas and Dahl Ellis Hatfield (Bob) of Henrietta, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jeffery Moore (Ellie), Todd Moore (Allyson), Kyler Hatfield and Elisha Hatfield Shelton (Ned). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel (316 S Bridge St, Henrietta, TX 76365). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
