He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Jackson and Grace Elisabeth Blades (Curtis); and his brothers, Gene Blades and Mike Blades. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Rhodes of Henrietta; his children, Aaron Blades (Cindy) of Temple, OK, Don Stacy of Wichita Falls, TX, Karen Richmond (Johnny) of Temple, OK and Sarah Zeizinger (Uwe) of Wichita Falls, TX; and his grandchildren, Leila Davis, Josh Collins (Sarah), Libby Whitecotton (Kyle), Jenna Collins, Molley Blevins (Chase), Dillon Richmond, Kaleigh Morgan (James), Tristan Richmond (Amber), Kayla Stacy, Hunter Stacy (Dakota), Jacqueline Casto (Christian) and Alexander Zeizinger (Ariel). He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (316 S Bridge St, Henrietta, TX 76365). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel (316 S Bridge St, Henrietta, TX 76365).
