He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Lerner and Lillian M. Lerner (Graner); and his siblings, Frances Harwell, Anne Kusnerik, Carolyn Morath and Jim Lerner.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Gallagher (Troy) of Henrietta and John Lerner Jr. (Constance) of Wichita Falls; his grandchildren, Lauren Williams (Landon), Audrey Gallagher, Erin Gallagher and Kaylin Morris; his great grandchildren, Jayce Morris, Kyler Williams and Stetson Williams; and his sister-in-law Barbara Lerner.
A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (316 S Bridge St, Henrietta, TX 76365). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (105 S Barrett St, Henrietta, TX 76365).
Memorials may be made to the Clay County Senior Citizens or to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Henrietta.
