He was predeceased by: his parents, Oather McAdams and Gloria Aiken McAdams. He is survived by: his sister Barbara Plumlee (Billy) of Wichita Falls; and his nephews, Sean Plumlee of Ithaca, NY and Luke Plumlee (Lindsay) of White House, Tennessee..

Memorials may be made to Edwards Public Library in Henrietta, Texas.
